Whenever 4+ inches of snow are forecasted, remember to check our website, social media, and your email for potential updates about snow emergencies and on-street parking restrictions. Having the roads as clear of vehicles as possible makes it easier for our snowplows to do their jobs!

Snow on the ground has created significant delays in leaf pickup operations. The same DPW crew takes care of the leaves at the curb, the snow and ice in the street, and any water main breaks, which are common at this time of year. Thank you for your patience as our staff works to prioritize community needs!

If you’d like your Christmas tree to be picked up, it must be at the curb by 7 AM on January 5 or January 19. If it isn’t picked up by the end of the day on those dates, don’t worry: it may take the whole week for staff to make their way through the city, depending on how many trees are out for pickup. No appointment is necessary, but please note that the pickup dates are weather-dependent.
