Ordinance Reading Adoption and Amendments

Community Development Director Kristen Kapelanski spoke about four ordinances that require amendments. These included the adoption of amendments to the Noise ordinance, amendment of the Nuisances ordinance to exclude redundancies, an amendment to reduce the Sidewalks ordinance Bond Prerequisite to one year, and a clarification to give authority to issue appearance tickets in reference to the ordinances seeking amendment. 

Single Family Residential District City-initiated Rezoning

Director Kapelanski also discussed three districts up for rezoning along Sunnyknoll Avenue and one location on Franklin Road. This is part of a continued effort to optimize Single Family Residential District classifications. Affected residents have been contacted regarding the change.
