Legislative Update from State Representative Natalie Price
State Representative Natalie Price shared updates on her previous legislative contributions and trends in the Michigan legislature going into 2026. She also shared her legislative priorities for this year, which include strengthening public health, protecting and building out Michigan’s clean energy future, and funding public schools.
SMART Specialized Services For 2026
Council approved the SMART Specialized Services funding contract for the 2026 fiscal year. This will help continue to provide public transportation services for seniors in the community. More information about the service is available by clicking here.
Parks & Recreation Superintendent Dan McMinn noted the service has been very busy lately. Those wanting to use the program should call at least two days in advance, but it is suggested to call a week or more in advance to ensure availability.
