All inspection requests can be made by sending an email to building@berkleymi.gov or calling 248.658.3320. Inspection requests must be made by 3:00PM to be included on the following day’s inspection schedule.

Requests should include the following information:

·       Permit number

·       Address of the project

·       Type of inspection requested (i.e. rough/final, etc.)

·       Name and phone number for contact person on-site

·       For electrical and plumbing inspections only: the requested inspection day (Monday or Wednesday)

·       Lockbox code, if applicable

A confirmation email noting the day and timeframe for the scheduled inspection will be sent via email once it has been scheduled.

• Electrical: Monday and Wednesday 9:30AM – 1:00PM
• Mechanical: Monday and Wednesday 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
